Post-Construction Cleaning Checklist
Our post-construction cleaning service will ensure your project is spotless and move-in ready, leaving your site pristine for your clients.
General
Kitchens And Bathrooms
Finishing Touches
General Area Prep
Walk through the space and identify areas that need special attention (e.g., exposed nails, sharp edges).
Collect any leftover construction materials, such as wood chips, nails, plastic, tape, and packaging.
Floors
Vacuum with a HEPA filter to remove dust, debris, and sawdust from carpets and floors.
Mop tile, wood, or bamboo floors with a mild detergent solution.
Vacuum carpets thorougly to remove construction dust and dirt.
Walls & Ceilings
Remove dust and debris from walls.
Clean walls to remove any stains or marks
Remove cobwebs and dust from ceilings
Wipe down light fixtures, ceiling fans, and air vents
Windows & Glass Surfaces
Remove dirt and streaks from windows.
Dust and wipe down window sills to remove construction debris.
Clean mirrors to remove streaks and marks.
Kitchen
Wipe down all appliances including the refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher with a mild detergent.
Use a non-abrasive cleaner for cabinets and countertops, and wipe down with a damp cloth.
Use a non-abrasive cleaner for the sink and faucet, removing any residue or dust.
Remove any grease or dust from the range hood and exhaust fan.
Bathroom
Use a disinfectant cleaner on all surfaces.
Wipe down mirrors with glass cleaner.
Use a grout cleaner for tiles.
Clean the sink, faucet, and countertops with a mild detergent.
Doors & Trim
Wipe down both the sides and tops of doors.
Dust and wipe down baseboards and trim to remove construction dust.
Special Areas
Dust and wipe down all banisters, handrails, and stair rails.
Dust and wipe down window sills to remove construction debris.
Scrape off any paint drips from floors, hinges, or other surfaces.
Finishing Touches
Make sure all construction trash, packaging, and debris are disposed of properly.
Do a final wipe down of all counters, shelves, and other surfaces.
Ensure all light fixtures and bulbs are working properly and clean any dirt or dust.
Final Walkthrough
Inspect the job site to ensure customer satisfaction.
Immediately address any findings.
